7/23/2010 3:38:08 AM I had a couple used with early rifles and had to modify the lock tab on the mag a bit to make it lock up tight.Functioned ok but if I used it at full 20 round capacity it was a hard fit into the rifle and seemed to bulge so I used it loaded with 18 rounds like myAR-15 Accessories 20 rounders and was fine then.One I wanted to work on to fit 20 in a particular rifle so I sanded it down after putting the full load in and kept at the sanding until it slid in and locked nicely HiredHitman

IMO If you are not going to get plates dont buy a plate carrier it will feel “bulky ” without plates in it . Get a decent chest rig ,or a MOLLE vest like the Mesa Tactical.

jukeboxx13: Qman2: I’m looking to upgrade the sights on my RRA Entry Tactical. I’ve decided to use the EOTech Dominator mount from RRA and the EOTech XPS2-0 HWS. I can get the XPS2-0 from MidwayUSA for about $450. Thoughts anyone? It’s a great optic with an good battery life. I have read some guys post on here that their EOTech lasted a year of regular use with out changing batteries. Also remember that the xps model is an absolute co-witness model where as the exps models have a lower 1/3 co-witness. Any way I have a Larue Tactical LT- 129 Cantilever mount that I bought with my Aimpoint ML3,and I have to say the mount is rock solid and I switch out that mount with another mount that I have a 1×4 scope mounted in.When I put the Larue Tactical LT-129 back on my rifle so I have my red dot It goes back to zero perfectly every time that I cant notice any difference in my point of aim. 8/8/2009 10:13:16 AM Aimpoint…we all know there are really only two ‘players’ in the high quality red dot world and Aimpoint is certainly one of them. BTW: Have you checked out the Burris XTS-135? I got one for my son’s CX4 and mounted it w/Burris’ Extreme Tactical mount (six bolts!!!) and that mother holds zero dispite the abuse it receives from an 11 and 12 year olds handling. We shoot it every weekend and its a tack driver! I’m now looking at this $235 Burris and thinking it may be time to try one on a ‘real’ gun… dwhitehorne
